queendom of creative bliss.
My site offers a view of my acrylic paintings
which are vibrant, lively, with bold primary
colours and up close frontals of single objects
often with whimsical humour. My comfort shapes
are trees, children, flowers and purses. The
ordinary is magical.
You will also find my hand made hearts which are
individually sewn beads on felt. The hearts heal
like a balm or herb or medicine: the hearts
celebrate like a party; the hearts say 'I love you'.
With all my being I believe in the power of love.
Their making is a passion for me and a
celebration of the boundless potential of love.
The hearts are my passport to ride on the
freedom train, with you, in the revolution of love.
I'm a peace activist clown so that's in here too.
Sharing laughter has transformed my life. With
laughter absolutely anything is possible. There is
love in the acrylics and beads and clowning.

The studio is located in the beautiful Laurentians
region of Quebec, Canada.
Art and the Community:
My practice is to donate 5% of sales to the
community. I look for deserving organisations
dedicated to direct community outreach with low
overhead including administrative costs. In the
past I have donated to La Maison des Jeunes,
L'Ombrelle (women and children in refuge from
violence) and the Ste. Agathe Food Bank. The
book Food Inc offers 10 ways to end world
hunger. Three of these suggestions center on
ending hunger where we live. I plan to give 5%
of my sales again to the Food Bank in Ste. Agathe
after my next Vernissage in December.
Art Connections:
In the strong belief art should be accessible, my
daughter and I painted a 24" x 28" painting of 4
mermaids from the 4 corners of the earth. We
gave this painting to Le Phare, a palliative
pediatric facility in Montreal.
